Dr. Guida’s Skincare Products
Dr. Guida developed his own skincare line at the request of many of his patients.  Because of his years of experience in facial plastic surgery, he realized early on that surgical procedures alone do not take care of all the cosmetic needs of his patients.  Tightening skin with a face and neck lift helps quite a bit, but if the skin texture is weathered and aged, total improvement has not been accomplished.

Therefore, he himself has in depth experience on personally performing a variety of chemical peels and laser resurfacing to improve the skin texture and quality.  However, it became quite evident to Dr. Guida that home skincare maintenance is the keystone to an anti-aging approach to one’s skin.

Dr. Guida started out simply with providing the best sunscreen available for his patients, as he believes protection from the damaging effects of the sun are essential and the first step in an intelligent anti-aging regimen.  This followed with development of products for cleansing, toning, exfoliation, and even out skin pigmentation.

Below is a list of current products formulated and offered by Dr. Guida for maintenance of healthy, glowing skin.  In addition, Dr. Guida is committed to his own education regarding the ever changing world of skincare and to provide the patient with the most advanced and effective products available in the world today.

Green Tea Gentle Cleanser:
This very fluid textured emulsion combines calming green tea, polyphenols and Coenzyme Q-10.  It eliminates skin impurities and make-up. It leaves the skin fresh and supple, water soluble.  It does not dry the skin.

Foaming Gel Cleanser:
This foamy refreshing cleansing gel purifies the skin and removes make-up.  It provides a sensation of cleanliness and suppleness that lasts all day. It is gentle on eyes, does not cause tearing.

Thermal Exfoliating Scrub:
This green tea fortified exfoliation scrub has dual action.  There is a mild exfoliation that takes place as a pleasant wave of heat detoxifies the skin and increases circulation for youthful appearance.   This product is manually activated and as it is massaged on the facial skin the two actions of exfoliation and warming are felt in an mild and comforting manner.  Proper exfoliation is indispensable as it enables the skin to breathe better, makes it more receptive to absorption of applied products, and reduces the formation of blackheads. A must have product!

Retinol Smoothing Serum 3x, 5x, and 10x:
This is a must have anti-wrinkle night care which provides an advanced retinol complex with green tea polyphenols, a powerful antioxidant that protect the skin.  It visibly improves the overall appearance of fine lines, superficial and deep wrinkles.  It restores the skin’s natural aging defense, delaying the appearance of wrinkles, rejuvenates and renews the skin’s surface, and evens out variations in skin pigmentation.  It is used as a Retin-A home care regimen.

Polyphenol Plus:
This serum is composed of 90% polyphenol isolates derived from green tea and fortified with caffeine.  It accelerates the healing process of the skin and soothes and protects the skin against environmental stress.  It helps with detoxification of the skin resulting with decreasing water retention in the tissues.

Anti- Aging Eye Serum:
This nourishing serum formula delivers the hydration benefits of Hyaluronic Acid and utilizes a rich blend of antioxidant including liposomal forms of vitamins A, C, E, Green Tea Extract and Coenzyme Q-10 to assist in preventing aging process.  It moisturizes and smoothes fine lines and wrinkles.  Its light texture does not leave waxy residue and is excellent under eye make-up.  It protects against environmental elements, stimulates tissue repair and regulates and improves the skin elasticity.

Ultra Lite Moisture Dew:
This is a very light weight moisturizer for the face recommended for all skin types.  Pure Aloe Vera and Glycerin help to bind moisture to the skin while squalane help to prevent moisture loss.  It is oil and fragrance free and great for everyday use.  It quickly dissolves into skin and provides intensive hydration and revitalizing effect, improving skin elasticity.

Aloe Cort Cream:
This moisturizer is enriched with hydrocortisone USP 1% for temporary relief of itching from minor skin irritations and rashes.  It is to be used only under the supervision of a doctor.  Dr. Guida frequently uses it following laser resurfacing, chemical peels, or allergic skin reaction.
